UPDATED 11/5/2011 Experienced Reservationist Looking for hardworking, self-starter, friendly, and extremely organized (detail oriented) individual. Responsibilities include supplying general information to guests, making reservations, and responding to questions and requests in a courteous and efficient manner. Must be able to perform cash/credit responsibilities and distribute information in a timely and professional manner. Basic computer skills required in MS Excel, MS Word and comfort with emailing. Ideal candidate will have reservation experience and / or concierge experience. Position requires excellent guest service skills. Office experience required! 40+ hours a week Monday-Friday Full-time/ Seasonal with potential of full time year round for the right person. Starting pay DOE. Ticket/Retail Sales Looking for a hard working friendly person to handle ticket/retail sales and associated duties. Must be able to handle the high intensity of morning ticket sales while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities include greeting guests, checking guests in/out, responding to questions and requests, retail sales, inventory, data entry, daily set up & breakdown and après bar sales. Must be able to perform cash/credit responsibilities following established procedures. Looking for a hard working, friendly individual to manage a small retail department and bar in the base tent. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an intimate, fast paced and challenging setting. The individual should be able anticipate future needs and be comfortable working at the heart of the operation. This is a full-time seasonal position with room for advancement. 35-40 hours a week starting pay DOE. Now accepting video resumes for a winter intern position filming and editing. Must have own equipment, be tech savvy, and have solid ski skills. Silverton Mountain is involved with major productions on a regular basis (Shaun White’s Secret Halfpipe, Red Bull Coldrush, MSP, Warren Miller, and TGR etc) and is looking for a young, skilled video person, ready to do whatever it takes, while assisting with our video productions and film projects. Internship is unpaid but provides unique learning opportunity, industry work experience, and college credit is typically available through your university. Knowledge of Cineflex a plus. Must be very reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, low maintenance person to succeed at the position. Submissions should initially be via email with links to your video resume.
